UCAT Score Conversion Table 2025
Prefer a visual version? Use our UCAT Conversion Table to estimate your overall score from raw marks.
This table reflects changes made in the 2025 UCAT and offers a conservative estimate – your real score may be slightly higher. Use the table below which helps to convert your raw UCAT score into an overall UCAT score.
This can be used as a UCAT marking table and a UCAT score converter in 2025 for 2026 entry.
This has been updated for 2025 UCAT changes.
We have erred on the side of caution in creating this UCAT conversion table, so your actual UCAT score should be higher than this.

UCAT Percentile Calculator UK 2025
Calculating the percentile from a UCAT score is an essential aspect of understanding where you stand in comparison to others who have taken the same exam.
Essentially, a percentile rank is a comparative score that tells you how well you performed relative to all other test-takers.
For instance, if you are in the 1st percentile, it implies that you scored higher than 1% of the candidates, placing you at the lower end of the performance spectrum.
Conversely, being in the 72nd percentile indicates that your performance surpassed 72% of the participants, situating you in the upper echelons of the scoring range.
Wondering how your UCAT score compares to other applicants? Use our UCAT Percentile Calculator to see where you rank nationally.
📌 Example: A score of 3200 in 2024 placed students in the top 1%
📌 A score of ~2550 placed students around the 50th percentile
📌 Use this tool to set realistic goals and track your progress.

High percentiles such as the 90th or above, signify an exceptionally high performance, indicating that the candidate's score is better than the vast majority of test-takers.
To score in the top 1% of the UCAT exam you needed a score higher than 3200 in the 2024 UCAT exam.
You may want to try and calculate your UCAT percentile from practice papers. Please use the following link to try and achieve this to work out your score.

UCAT SJT Band Calculator 2025
It is difficult to calculate your UCAT SJT Band based on your raw marks, but you can use the interactive module above to have a go (scroll back up a bit).
Roughly speaking we would expect a score of:
80% to receive a band 1
65% band 2
50% band 3
Anything below that a band 4.
Remember that some questions have answers which can score half marks - this makes marking your test a little more difficult!
