“I really liked that I had different experts helping with different parts of my application. My UCAT tutor was amazing at teaching strategy, while my doctor mentor focused on the wider application and strategic uni choices and interviews. It felt like having a whole team behind me.”
“I honestly don't think I would have got into Dentistry without this. My dentist mentor helped me understand exactly what admissions tutors were looking for, and the interview practice built my confidence week after week. The whole process felt much less stressful having experts guiding me.”
“Applying for Veterinary Medicine felt overwhelming because there are so many extra parts compared with other courses. My vet mentor helped with my SAQs, personal statement and interview preparation. The feedback was incredibly detailed and I ended up receiving interviews everywhere I applied.”
We do one thing: get students into medicine, dentistry and veterinary school. That focus is the difference you feel from the first call.
The people planning your application actually did the job you're aiming for, led by an NHS GP and practising dentists.

New every week: UCAT strategy, interview hot topics, personal statement tips and admissions news.
Baroness Amos's National Maternity and Neonatal Investigation found that women in England were too often unheard in maternity care, and that racism and poor teamwork made care less safe. Here's what it found, its eight recommendations, the government's response and how to discuss it in your medicine interview.
Corridor care means NHS patients being treated on trolleys in corridors because hospitals are full. Here's what causes it, the latest 2026 figures, why it's unsafe, what could fix it and how to talk about it in your medicine interview, with realistic questions and a model answer.
Equality, diversity and inclusion is a common medicine interview topic. This guide explains the Equality Act 2010 and its nine protected characteristics, the types of discrimination, the public sector equality duty, why a diverse NHS workforce matters for patients, and how to answer questions about trans patients with care.
We don't think your postcode or your family's budget should decide who becomes a doctor, dentist or vet. So we put a huge amount of what we know online for free, with no account and no paywall, and we do as much as we can for students from backgrounds under-represented in the professions.
If cost is a barrier, tell us on a free call and we will do what we can to help. You can also call us on 0203 488 5468.
TheUKCATPeople is a UK medical, dental and veterinary admissions specialist that has helped students win places since 2012. We were founded by Dr Akash Gandhi, an NHS GP, and named after the UKCAT (now the UCAT), the admissions test we have coached from the very beginning.
The company is led by qualified clinicians, and every tutor scored in the top decile of the exam they teach and is trained in-house before their first session. We are rated 5.0 from 660+ reviews on Trustpilot.
We support the whole application to study medicine, dentistry and veterinary medicine: 1-1 UCAT tutoring, personal statement editing, university strategy, interview coaching and one-day UCAT courses. You can book any service on its own, or take an Ultimate Package that mentors you across the entire cycle.
Alongside the paid services we publish a large library of free guides, a free UCAT skills trainer, a free full-length UCAT mock and a free UCAT score calculator, all open to everyone.
We hold a 5.0 rating from 660+ reviews on Trustpilot, the independent review platform, and have mentored over 2,700 students. We would rather you judged us on that verified record than on any claim we make about ourselves.
The honest answer is that we are a strong fit for students who want a specialist to diagnose exactly where they are losing marks and fix it week by week. If you only want questions to drill, a self-study bank may be enough, and we will tell you so on a free call.
1-1 UCAT tutoring starts at £775 for 10 hours, and personal statement editing and interview coaching are priced per package. Ultimate Packages bundle the whole application together and are usually better value than buying each service separately.
Larger packages can also be paid monthly: 20 hours of UCAT tutoring is £1,545, or 2 monthly payments of £772.50; 20 hours of interview coaching is £1,449, or 2 monthly payments of £724.50; Ultimate Packages start at £2,999, or 3 monthly payments of £999.66.
Every enquiry starts with a free discovery call, at no cost and no obligation, where we recommend the right level of support for your situation and budget.
Yes. All of our tutoring and coaching is delivered online and scheduled around your time zone, and we support applicants from the UAE, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, the US and many other countries. We also understand the extra layers international students face, from fee status to how individual universities treat international applications, and build that into your plan. Our Ultimate Package for international applicants explains how, with reviews from families abroad.
All three. We run full pathways for medicine, dentistry and veterinary medicine, plus support for allied applications such as pharmacy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and dental hygiene and therapy. Our founding team includes an NHS GP and practising dentists, and specialist vets lead our veterinary coaching.
Book a free discovery call. We will talk through your grades, your target universities and where you are in the process, then recommend an honest plan, whether that is a single service, an Ultimate Package or simply our free resources. There is no cost and no obligation.
Ultimate Package students from our 2025/26 cycle, with their UCAT scores and offers, who trained with us for the UCAT, personal statements and interviews.
“Harry got my UCAT up to 2,590, working through the sections I kept dropping marks on week by week. Gemma then ran my interview practice so the MMI stations didn't catch me out, and Dr Akash mentored me the whole way through. I'm off to King's for Medicine.”
“The interview prep was the part that actually moved the needle. Proper mock MMIs, not just lists of questions, and feedback that was honest about what I was getting wrong. I ended up with four offers and firmed UCL.”
“The Ultimate Package kept me organised from UCAT through to interviews. They knew what dental schools actually ask and tightened up my personal statement. Four offers in the end, and I'm going to Birmingham.”
“Vet applications come down to the written SAQs as much as the interview. Dr Rebecca went through my SAQs line by line, sharpened my answers and prepped me for the panels. I came away with four offers and chose the RVC.”
